We all have but one life. Just one opportunity.
And therefore must strive to live a utopian life.
So that each one of us on his planet can live and enjoy life, as envisioned by our creator.
But in order to create utopia on this planet we need to eradicate both - 'material poverty' as well as the more malevolent - 'poverty of the mind'.
Else we will all collectively continue to suffer, going thru the motion of life, lost in frivolous pursuits.
Partaking of bits & crumbs, from the most opulent celebration that we have been invited for.

Between 21st and 24th Nov 2006 Ramesh screened the film in New Delhi for the Planning Commission of India, Ministry of Social Justice and Welfare headed by cabinet minister Meira Kumar and DVD's were distributed to the PMO'S office, Cabinet Ministers and Members of parliament.
The film changed the agenda, direction and policies of the Indian government led by UPA.
Triggering initiatives that are benefiting millions of poor people in India. (read the incredible unfolding story below.
On 11th Jan 2007, just 6 weeks after the films screening in New Delhi, the Prime Minister of India Dr.Manmohan Singh for the first time in the history of India announced the concept of "Safety Net" as recommended in the film. (Times of India clippings below)
The 'safety net' announced by the PM included
1) Social Security for unorganized sector - Bill passed in Parliament for "The unorganized sector workers social security bill 2007. Around 30 Crore (300 million) agricultural labourers and workers from the unorganized sector stand to benefit from this bill.
2) Health care package for old age person and BPL - Old persons Bill (by the Ministry of Social Justice and welfare )- 7.6 crores (76 million) old people and widows stand to benefit from this bill.
3) Life and disability cover- estimated 30 crore (300 million) people stand to benefit from this bill
Policy Directions 2009 - of UPA Govt after winning the elections with a majority
Unconstrained by its previous alliance with leftist parties, Singh's new government had a freer hand to implement economic liberalization measures to drive growth, but instead focused its budget on rural development and support of social programmes. (Times of India)
From Safety-Net, Social security, Pension, Healthcare, Housing, Roads, Schools, Public-private partnership to Unique Identification Number (UID) and Inclusive growth ALL the recommendations of the film have been announced and are being implemented on a fast track mission mode by the Indian government under UPA.
